Call for unified wolf policy in Nordic countries

Jun 29, 2016

A Norwegian MP has called for a unified policy towards wolves (and other predators) between Norway and Sweden.

Sverre Myrli, of the Labour Party, says that increasing populations require good management and as wolves frequently cross the border the two countries should co-operate.

The history of wolf management in Norway and Sweden has caused controversy, with Sweden culling wolves in defiance of EU law.
